🚧 HWY 36 BRIDGE UPDATE – 

Per state officials WEDNESDAY, FEB 4, 2026 🚧 the bridge is scheduled to close. Per the last update I received from The Office Of Louisiana Highway Construction.

As of right now, I have received ZERO new updates beyond the last information I shared.

🚨 The bridge is supposed to close tomorrow(2/4/26), but there has been NO confirmed time provided.

• It may be open in the morning

• It may close later in the day

• It may not close at all tomorrow

Because of that, I’m not going to tell you to reroute unless and until we have confirmation.

I want to be very clear and transparent with y’all:

👉 I’m actively emailing and calling

👉 I’m pushing for answers

👉 Our local representatives are also trying to get information

👉 The delay is coming from the STATE — not local officials

If you see new signage, cones, barriers, or crews staging, PLEASE let me know immediately. Community eyes help fill the gaps when official communication falls short.

I do have a full-time job, so I can’t physically sit at the bridge all day waiting for a closure — but I promise you this:
