Yes the bridge is closed on Hwy36

I just got off the phone with State Rep. Peter Egan.

It was a good conversation. I do have an update, and I’m actively working with him now to get official detour information and clearer details from the state.

As soon as I receive confirmed detour routes and any additional updates, I will post everything immediately so everyone can plan accordingly.

One important note from our conversation:

He shared that the Louisiana Office of Highway Construction is a goal-driven department, they are the get it done department. 

I know this is frustrating. I know people need answers.
